Community Associations Institute

Innovative supports Community Associations Institute and encourages Boards and Homeowners to become members.  CAI’s core mission is to make its members successful by helping community associations meet the expectations of their residents. They do this by enhancing the environment in which their members operate, improving the image of community association volunteers, and helping their members develop the personal and professional skills they need to be successful—all while minimizing the cost of CAI membership and services.

Community Associations Institute works to enhance the understanding of community associations and the volunteers and professionals who sustain them by

  • Providing accurate and balanced information on the nature, benefits and challenges of association-governed communities
  • Promoting the value of effective governance and responsible and informed citizenship

Community Associations Institute (CAI) is the only national organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations. Our mission is to assist community associations in promoting harmony, community, and responsible leadership. We believe that by giving board members, managers, and homeowners the knowledge to better run their associations, they can turn "owners" into "neighbors," increasing harmony, and leading to more prosperous, safer communities.

Community Associations Institute Ohio Valley Chapter is your local resource for information of interest to community associations, boards and homeowner members.  Members of the local chapter include all types of association-governed communities, such as condominium and homeowner associations, cooperatives, and planned communities of all sizes; individual homeowners; community managers and management firms; builders and developers; accountants, attorneys, lenders, insurance providers, reserve specialists, and other providers of professional services; public officials; and product and service suppliers—all working together to create more livable communities.
